I have no fuse in my plugs, so I have no example. If you remove the existing fuse it probably has markings in it to indicate the rating. My local power is 117v, I would think a 5 amp fuse would do, but your power may be different.

HI david

i would use a 5A for the monitor and never more than a 5A on the PC, nothing more than that.
If you prefer to be a little cautious, then 3A on both but best to check the rating of the PSU on the PC, eg....
if you have a 400W PSU and (devide) 230V = 1.7A thus 3A fuse. likewise for the mon! ((Watts devide Volatge = Amps.))

3 amps. It's much cheaper to replace a fuse than to have to pay for major repairs. That, plus safety, is the whole idea of having a fuse in place.

13a if high spec pc with big psu
could proll use 5a if crappy store bought pc
