I have finally moved into my bedroom but everytime a grandparent comes over he/she settles into my little sister's bedroom and she moves into mine. My room is like a box room and is hardly enough for me. Every sunday when i clean my bedroom I end up getting angry at everyone at home, in my room i find my sister's stuff, documents and paper work that does not belong to me and hell knows what else. How can I get everyone at home to keep their stuff in their rooms? I feel like my bedroom is their store room. Please help me!!

Well seeing how you have to "share" your space at time with other family members I would suggest getting a basket maybe a laundry basket that you can toss everyone else's things into that DON'T belong and politely leave them outside your room.. That way you are no longer responsible for them and they are OUT of the way ! Or have your sister help you clean your room for a bit on Sunday by removing her things from the room.. Anything NOT removed becomes trash after a few times of losing valuable things she should get the hint...

You can ask your sister to please clean her stuff from your room. Keep asking her every time she messes it up. She'll get annoyed eventually, even if she doesn't want to clean and won't mess your room up.

Pick other people's stuff and put it in their rooms on their beds or somewhere where it looks messy for them.

I guess that would work. But don't get angry, you have to share your room with your family too. Especially since you guys don't have enough room space for everyone. This is what it means to be a family.

Be happy :).

Place a lock with key on ur bedroom door so no one is tempted to go in to your room and mess it up after you have cleaned it up. and don't get mad have everyone who has anything in your room come pick there stuff up and out of your room after a few times of this they will not like it.

Have a family meeting and voice your concerns. Try to work it out with your parents. At our house I don't allow displacing the kids for visitors. Those are their rooms. I understand your being upset. Have a talk with mom and dad. Don't yell and shout, just lay out your facts and reasons calmly. Good luck.

don't be so selfish, we're are talking about your sister and your gran.
and I'm sure that if your bed room is in your parents house, it's actually their bedroom you only sleep in it.
keep it tidy, that's not your mum's job. and stop your moaning..
there's worse thing's going on in the world...........
