I was a fan of theirs for while and think they have amazing talent. When they are both on they are almost unbeatable. This is why it's such a shame they haven't learned to be gracious when they lose. Venus is much better when she loses than her sister specially this year. Serena was beaten by Justine 3 of the 4 times they played this year and all 3 times were at the Slams. I can understand how upset you would be losing a tough match but time and again Serena refuses to give her opponents credit which really just shoots herself in the foot. People always bring the race issue into it and admittedly race does play a part of the negativity towards them but in this case it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with gracelessness. To say the world number 1 hit 'lucky shots' is laughable. To come into a press room with a sarcastic, rude and snippy attitude after you've made more money in a couple of weeks than a lot of people make in several years was well....insulting. Serena would go a lot farther if when she gets soundly beaten she says just that instead of trashing her opponents.

this could be a great question with some great solutions, the respond is specific. for sure she "can," whether, "will" she is the actual question. This to me is a harder question to respond to than something via fact if an in form Sharapova performs an in form Venus or Serena it extremely is lilterally a toss up, then you could evaluate the floor. Venus could with 80% coverage beat Sharapova at Wimbledon, Venus is purely too dominant at Wimbledon, which has been sparkling for the previous decade. Sharapova has a greater powerful danger of thrashing Serena on any given day, any undertaking and any approach than she does Venus. Serena has to look with a "i bypass to slaughter you" approach, gameplan and physique as a manner to triumph over Sharapova. Venus purely desires to play her sport. Sharapova is a huge champion and has the sport to triumph over them the two, whether, i won't for helpful say that she would be in a position to if all 3 of them are in form. additionally, the venue is likewise significant. Sharapova enjoying a Williams in San Diego is diverse then enjoying a Williams in Queens! And correction, besides the indisputable fact that it improve into an exhibition Venus performed remarkably to triumph over Sharapova acceptable earlier the 08AO, 4 and 3. only one thing to think of roughly.

People will hate them no matter what they say. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't. People hated them when they were winning every tournament and they are still hating on them when they loose. The racists bastards on here are the ones without class, not the Williams sisters. The fact is, when either one of them is playing their best tennis, they are unbeatable and that has been proven time and time again. Even Mary Carillo and John McEnroe say that, but somehow when the Williams sisters say it they are without class all of a sudden.
Justine Henin was played awesome in this tournament and she deserves to win. The Williams sisters didn't play that good against her and therefore don't deserve to win. And that is basically what they have both said.
Serena said that Justine played better, but somehow all that the media focused on when they were grilling her after her tough defeat was "lucky shots" which made Serena out to look like she had no class. You never heard them quote her saying that Justine played better even though she did say that.
So people (to include the media) don't like the Williams sisters because they are black, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with them sucking in tennis or about what they say. Sorry, just calling it like it is! They will and have always been made out to be the bad guys. It's just the way America is!

First of all they don't say "I wasn't 100% percent" every single time they lose, not even half the time they lose do they say that. in fact no more than any of the other tennis player do they say that when they lose and I believe that when any of them say that when they lose they say it because its the truth. So why do you single them out, are you A hater ???

Venus won wimbledon recently

You know why the keep getting unjuries? Because they seldom play and probably hardly practice. So when they get into a hard match they get injured. You have to play weekly, you can't just play every couple months.

As of late, in part they have both been struggling with a lot of injuries and yesterday in Venus' match with Justine she really did not look well at all physically, because with one of the changeovers she had to call the trainer as well.
