Less than 24hrs after 9/11, Ariel Sharon was telling the U.S. (public record) to attack Iraq. When our country was still reeling and no information was in on who was responsible, A.Sh. was already on the soapbox. We presented false evidence to the U.N.Gen.Assembly on the presence of WMD in Iraq. We bullied,intimidated and scoffed at Hans Blix(U.N. inspector) and at countries which debated the wisdom of going to war with us on this evidence. Could the false evidence have come from Israeli intelligence and not from our own? Isn't that manipulation? Why hasn't a single Israeli soldier been deployed(died) in Iraq?Why are we now pointed in the direction of Iran and Syria? Are we the surrogate army of Israel?Iraq's breaking of UN resolutions was cited as a cause for war but Israel constantly breaks UN resolutions and we don't give a damn. Why aren't our political representatives asking these questions? Afraid of being simplistically labelled ¨antisemitic¨ by the powerful Israeli lobby?

I ask at least 8 reasonable questions and would so appreciate ANSWERS to any or all of them expressed in a reasonable way. The fact that I am asking THESE particular questions and not others may make some people uncomfortable and I'm sorry for that but I'm uncomfortable not knowing the answers to these questions.

You ask some interesting questions.
If the false information actually originated from Israeli intelligence and not ours then we were criminally naive and negligent to rely on a foreign power's intelligence service. It would also explain why we were taken in by false evidence. We were stupidly trusting maybe. If that was the case, then we were wrong to pass it off at the UN as our own. A lot of countries went in with us against their voting public's opinion because they thought that evidence came from reliable U.S. sources.
I don't know why Israel isn't fighting alongside in Iraq and dying with us. We have had really strained relations with other countries(mostly our allies) because they wouldn't follow our lead and yet there has never been a peep in the Press or anywhere about this strange absence. I'd be interested in an answer to this too! It would seem that they get us to fight their wars,huh?
A lot of people take it for granted that we're the ones doing the manipulation because of our size and power but when I look at these questions it might really be the other way around. We are in a mess right now but Israel got an oilpipe line straight from Iraq just months after the invasion and it also got Iran and Syria off its back for a while,not to mention Iraq. Public opinion also centered on Iraq and left them free to do what they wanted with Palestinians.
And yes,I'd say all our politicians are chicken. It's election year and if they say one little thing about Israel they will get the antisemite card flashed at them.Most are probably too dumb to have even thought of these questions anyway.

I think the US is the one doing the dangerous manipulation. Israel is an american satellite in the middle east and although
the jewish lobby has a powerful voice in Washington they do not decide ultimatelly american foreign policy. You are right about Israel constantly breaking UN resolutions and they do so with the explicit permission of the US. The US has been manipulating the rest of the world since the end of WWII.
