I am looking for some scientific theory that would allow someone to theoretically live for eternity.

The heat death of the universe is the largest barrier ...and I have read all kinds of theories on the ultimate fate of the universe...including the Big Crunch, the reign of photons, etc

The one in which I see that could sustain life indefinitely would be this multiverse idea...but I need to learn more about it first.

If there were an infinite number of universes, then is there a way to possibly escape this universe after entropy increases and life becomes unsustainable ...to another parallel universe with difference physical constants but for which you could still survive?

Is this possible from a physics perspective???

'Multiverse Theory' Holds That the Universe is a Virtual Reality Matrix

Sydney Morning Herald | July 22 2004

Comment: Isn't it amazing that scientists have finally had to admit that the design of the universe is so perfectly crafted so as to indicate intelligent design and yet they still try to avoid any explanation which includes the word God.

The multiverse theory has spawned another - that our universe is a simulation, writes Paul Davies.

If you've ever thought life was actually a dream, take comfort. Some pretty distinguished scientists may agree with you. Philosophers have long questioned whether there is in fact a real world out there, or whether "reality" is just a figment of our imagination.

Then along came the quantum physicists, who unveiled an Alice-in-Wonderland realm of atomic uncertainty, where particles can be waves and solid objects dissolve away into ghostly patterns of quantum energy.

Now cosmologists have got in on the act, suggesting that what we perceive as the universe might in fact be nothing more than a gigantic simulation.

The story behind this bizarre suggestion began with a vexatious question: why is the universe so bio-friendly? Cosmologists have long been perplexed by the fact that the laws of nature seem to be cunningly concocted to enable life to emerge. Take the element carbon, the vital stuff that is the basis of all life. It wasn't made in the big bang that gave birth to the universe. Instead, carbon has been cooked in the innards of giant stars, which then exploded and spewed soot around the universe.

The Creator of the laws of physicst made the Universe to follow those laws.
The Law of physics including the law of thermo dynamics indicates an entropy which demonstrates that the Universe slowly decays . The Control system to maintain the Universe in equilibrium is designed as such. That means that as mass is gained by Galaxies their radius vectors expands. If a Galaxy loses more mass than it gains it radius vector contracts. There fore a Gravitational equilibrium is maintained.

It is possible Since there are about a trillion Galaxies in the Universe that our Creator will revamp the Universe so that we might have each galaxy to function as a universe which Humans may inhabit in the Future. He did indicated in the Holy Bible that there would be a new Heaven and a New Earth.
However any conjecture concerning The Creation or The Universe decaying to an infinite entropy is still speculative .
Even Though Energy disipates in the Universe as a function of temperature which we call Entropy is not completely lost, since a percent of Energy lost in space is reabsorbed into some Galaxies.
The Energy gain and loss in the Universe must obey the same laws that governs the Electron. An electron loses mass ,but regains it back as temperature of the atom is increased. The control system in the atom has close resemblence to the Universe.

We basically cannot Scientifically indicate that there exist other Universes which is a duplicate of our Unverse and which would all orbit The Center of Heaven. Heaven is God's Domain, and in order to know what its about we have to be there to observe it. We have a limitation on Earth ;we are not able even with Radio Astronomy to plot and map out beyound the outskirt of the Universe

no longer undesirable... i assume you observed that episode of Futurama, wherein Professor Farnsworth invented a field containing an entire new universe, and then they stumbled on there have been lots of those boxes, and that they have been given lost in many universes... that substitute into humorous!!!! LOL in spite of the undeniable fact that, i think of that's a very diverse actuality -that's not that there are various universes, or maybe one... that's some thing else. we are all ONE, and we see that ONE in products contained in direction of the Universe we live in -that's, a fashion of information the genuine actuality. complicated to describe... hassle-free to work out, as quickly as you get there.

Its highly unlikely that you will ever get an answer to this kind of question on Y/A, at least one that doesn't somehow-or-other involve religion.

A book entitled "PARALLEL WORLDS" written by Michio Kaku, a real scientist, discusses this subject, in layman's terms, and is not too hard to understand. And there's no 'preaching' involved.

The Universe works because of the Laws of Physics.
If the laws were different then the Universe wouldn't exist.
Theists amuse me with their stupid claims that the existence of the universe proves the existence of god .
The universe IS, because the Laws of Physics demand that it is.
