Dead and gone. So make the most of your life while you are still here.

When we die our body goes back to the ground, in that day our thoughts do perish... that's according to Psalms 146:4. We are mortal and do not survive the death of our body. The life we enjoy is like flame of a candle. When the flame is put out, it does not go anywhere. It is simply gone.
Death is an enemy, and soon this enemy will be brought to nothing (1Corinthians 15:26). The bible accounts give us hope that we can once again meet our loved ones who died already as stated in Acts24:15 that, there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Similarly, Revelation 20:13 says "The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades (common grave of mankind) gave up those dead in them. This collective grave will be emptied. All those billions who rest there will live again.

Biblically, Scientifically, Historically and Philosophically proven that when we die we never will disappear. We are in the 1st and the 2nd laws of Thermodynamics. We are under the law of Entropy. Nothing is lost in this universe because it is a closed system. The Bible is clear in its declaration that we will have eternal life either in heaven or in hell. If you recieve Jesus Christ as your Lord God and Savior, you are predistined to heaven but if your free will does not want to recieve Him, then you are destined to hell to glorify God's justice because God is a just God and be sure that your sin will find you out. (1 Corinthians 15:51-57 and 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18)

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.
This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.
At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.
We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.
These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.
From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.
I hope that helps to answered your question.
Love and blessings Don

The laws of nature apply to our bodies and minds just the same as they do to everything else in the universe. For example, the old adages "what goes around comes around" and "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and the law of physics "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction" all are describing the same law of nature. Likewise, there is a law of physics that states that no energy is ever lost. Your consciousness -- your awareness -- cannot be lost because nothing in nature is ever lost. The consciousness connected with living beings would have to follow the laws of nature just like everything else in nature. You could study the sciences, especially physics. I also recommend the analyses of His Holiness Maharish Mahesh Yogi.

Baporize? Maybe vaporize? When we die, our souls roam the Earth as spirits and we become truly inhabitied with the environment, and become a part of the world. There's no "bad place" and "good place" that we go, as I'm sure SOMONE has told you that once or twice.

Our remains return to the Earth from which they came. Now the experiences, hopes and dreams no one can truely say and if they do they are pulling your leg.

How can you disbelieve in God? You were without life and He gave you life, and then He will cause you to die, then restore you to life, and then to Him shall you be made to return.
And guard yourselves against the day when you shall be made to return to God; then shall every soul be paid in full what it has earned; and they shall not be wronged.
