With millions spent on security, stupid protestors and inconvenience of just about all of Aussies this week, why don't they have these APEC meetings on a remote island somewhere in the world...?
There would be no public - they can have their meetings in damn peace and no disruption to anyone else.

In principle I'd give it the thumbs up ! How about an uninhabited island in the middle of nowhere...is Muraroa atoll radioactive free yet ? Who cares , send them there ! lol

Just a waist of money. APEC should just be a BYO picnic and all that money that use to be spent on it can go to feeding the poor, environmental concerns and finding cures for desease.
