My opinion.. they are already guilty of leaving chidren alone to go out to eat. I wouldn't and couldn't do that.
I think there's a lot more involved than the parents care to admit and I don't doubt for a second they had something to do with it.
I would hope they find Maddie alive, but sadly, I don't think they will.

A stranger definitely. The Portugese police made such a balls up in the first place. They most certainly didnt do their job properly and now they want shot of the case. The family will always blame themselves for leaving Madeline. This has been happening for years people checking in on their children - I witnessed it myself on holiday in Spain. My heart goes out to the McCanns but if I am proved wong I will lose my faith in human nature.

From the start I thought that the parents were involved somehow. The mother especially seems to enjoy too much talking to the media and all the coverage she gets. I hope I'm wrong though. And I hope the little girl is fine.

I work with missing persons and this case has guilty all over it. Proving it is going to be difficult and I too hope the child is safe but my gut feeling tells me differently.

If the parents did do it, I think it was by accident, but they will always be guilty of neglect.
