I just looked it up and it said that it isn't safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
I think you should go to your doctor to see if they can recommend a safer alternative.

I was told not to use it.
But then I am a high risk pregnancy.

I would contact your doctor or care giver. Maybe a chemist would know. The web sites say not to use. Have a look at the links.

I use heat packs to help with my back pain.

You should know before you use it. There might be something on the label.
