Since I don't have the patience to sit around on hold, it only takes a few minutes for me to hang up.

Depending how important I wanted to ask my question. Recently I called the cable company for a problem I was on hold for 30 Min's while they worked on it. I think that is about my limit because by the time they came back on I'm sure they could tell I was annoyed in my voice. Especially when they were my cell phone mins wasting away. But at least I got the cable working again.

It all depends on who I am talking to. If I talking to one of my friends or acquaintances, then I will wait for about a minute or so then hang up. If I am busy, they have, like, 30 seconds. If it's that important, they can call me back. I'm not about to sit and hold the phone like some dumbass. But if I am trying to take care of business, I'll put the damned thing on speakerphone (I have unlimited mobile minutes) and wait if I have to. I know the wait will be longer if I hang up and call back.

Depends on how long I have been waiting, if it is a place of business, and they are rude enough to put me on hold, I will hang up.
If it is a friend, I tell them to just call me back when they are not so busy.

Unless it is a really import business call, my friends and relatives know not to put me on hold, I hang up..like I said except for business, then they have you at their mercy.
