When I was around eleven, I met a boy my age in a summer camp. We sort of hated each other. We teased, we punched, we hit, we insulted, there was absolutely nothing to laugh over about it. I hoped never to meet him again.

A few years later, in some strange twist of fate, we meet each other again. I've grown out of my childish hatred, but it seems he didn't. As a teenager, even if he doesn't hit me, he insults me and makes me feel horrible. I don't want to fight. I just want us to be okay with each other. I've tried apologizing and everything, but he takes it as a cheesy trick. Help, anyone?

Get your self some distance from this abusive and aggressive behavior. Inform someone who will seriously understand you are being abused if not physically then mentally.

Show him that you've really grown. Keep a distance from him to avoid any confrontation. But if you can't avoid him anymore and he did it again, you can report him to local authorities in the community or the school authorities. If he still do it again, report him to the police, and if still do it, get the assistance/advise of a lawyer and sue him in the court.

This way, you are showing him that you've grown; that you are following rules, regulation and the laws.

Time is actually on your side in this instance; you've matured faster than he has (no surprise there), but I have a feeling his metamorphosis won't be far behind. Who knows: you may even wind up married to each other; stranger things have happened.

you might not be able to change this kids mind about you, just go your way and let him go his.You just can't be civil to some people, you've grown and have become a more mature person and he hasn't.As long as you've gotten over that anger that's all that matters.

I just think he secretly likes you, but in his situation, he's still trying to figure it out yet.
