It depends on the individual & how they choose to react or respond. My experience has shown me that I must come out of the victim role & assume responsibility. Before I did this I just hid, mostly from myself, so I repeated a lot of lessons many times while crying "Why is this happening to me". We mostly are a society of sleep walkers blindly walking thru this life with little insight into our behaviors or reactions. Living an examined life will ultimately teach us about the nature of what we call self & our reality. If we are really trying to seek truith & can set aside our false self then yesthis world of what seems to be constant frictioncan indeed lead to our awakeing.
