it kept on reducing the space on the hard drive continusouly....any idea ahy is this so???

coulhd it be the system restore????

depends. what runs on your OS? my itunes had over 100 temp libraries at 10MB each to be 1.5 gigs. system restore can do it, but shouldn't continually reduce your space either unless it's creating multiple system restore points. just right click on your C: drive and set it up

XP and VISTA are both very space hungry, not to mention when you add System Restore, and if you have ever used it you will see there is a calander and each day your computer was in a different state of use and programs added so as you can see your space dwindles FAST.
