It really all depends on what you are putting off doing. I, for example, work much better under pressure and with strict guidelines. I can put off a project until the very last minute and get it done with much better results than if I had gone ahead and done it when it was first presented to me. But that also depends on the individual. Not everyone works well under pressure; this could cause higher stress levels and an inability to focus on the task at hand.

Now if you are procrastinating on paying your bills...well, I think we all know the consequences of that! I used to have a bad case of "Okay, I'll pay this bill with my next paycheck"-itis. It worked for a while, but all that stuff caught up with me at one point and there was no way I could handle it all at once. I borrowed money right and left that entire month and I am still working on paying some of it back!

It depends on what the situation is. If it's something like breaking up with someone when you're in a bad relationship it can be very disasterous but if it's something like doing a household project that's not super important then no. It also depends on how responsible you are. you have to no how long you can hold off until you chose to finally start the twelve page essay that you were assigned three months ago. If you choose to procrastinate but be responsible at the same time and know that if you do not start two days before it's due you will not get it done then it's not that bad but if you wait and wait and wait until thirty minutes before you have that class you need to reprioritize.

Nah, procrastinating isn't that bad at all, I do it all the time, I mean you know how the old saying goes, "Why do today when you can put off til tomorrow.".... worlds best saying in my opinion lol, my everyday motto. Have a star for sharing my opinion.

Its a bad habbit to get into, and i used to do it all the time. Its hard to get out of, but now, i realize that if you do some of the work little by little each day, you will get the assignment done faster, and you won't have to cram it to the very end.

It isn't that bad if you get it done in time who cares that you had 2 weeks to do something and you got it done in only 3 hours before the deadline! you should be awarded some kind of quick work medal or something!!!
