Thought of it? Probably almost everyone. Seriously considered it? Probably quite a few. Include me there. Attempted it? Yes, several times, until I realized that I did not really want to die, I wanted to be rescued. That was a very unfair manipulation of the people who cared enough to rescue me. When the last attempt lost me the lover who had meant so much to me, who did indeed rescue me and then visited me in the hospital to say that he was through being my baby-sitter, I quit the attempts.

But then one more thing happened, which you may consider my karma for those attempts: My Steve, whom I loved beyond all possibility of describing, committed suicide on December 16, 2005. I found out what it's like for those Left Behind, as it were. I forgave him, but it took some doing. I eventually realized that he honestly believed he was doing me a favor! He was so very, very wrong about that.

I think about it all the time, but I don't attempt it much. I attempted only 3 or 4 times in my life. That's one thing I hide from doctors, even though I shouldn't, but I just don't wanna be locked in the mental hospital & have no freedom. Last time I attempted was in March. I felt I had no choice because someone was gonna kill me anyway, & the cops didn't believe me, so I took an overdose of Benzos.

I used to think of suicide as a teenager but never in my adult life. Unfortunately, the statistics show that people who constantly think about it, eventually will do it. You are so young and beautiful: it's not worth ending your own life. I have two daughters, if I would have ended my life then, my girls wouldn't be here and they deserve to be here!!!! You need to speak with your parents, your friends, you teachers or somebody that you can trust and get some help. We all go through tough times but it will get better. Life can be so beautiful and it's all ahead of you.

I wondered whether I would be able to and the answer I came up with was no. But I have the theory that however low you may feel now , one day in about a week or a month something great will happen to you and you will think back and say Sheeeeez, im glad I never topped myself . life is great.

upset me that anyone cld contemplate that - why - life is a gift - even the hardships are there for a reason - the curcumstances you find yourself in are there for you to learn from the experience life has presented before you - lessons are a very integral part to the development of the personality - it is about intergration - adaptive techniques - survival - making progress in the arena of life - acceptence of curcumstances as you find manifesting in your lifes journey - there for a very good reason - the responsibilty for your own thoughts words and deeds - is ultimately of your own choosing - being constantly negative about yourself only attracts other people with that same mentality - start being positive and see how you attract other people who also have a positive attitude to life - it is up to you - you can't blame anyone else - you are responsible for your own thoughts - think more in terms of progress - affirm that you are worthy of love and you shall be loved - start with a little love for your self - how can you expect some one to love you when you don't love your self - doesn't make sense does it ? have compassion for yourself - in the same way how can you have true compassion for others when you have little or no compassion for your self ? doesn't make sense - right ! - ok - try a little tenderness - start by sitting queitly by yourself in a peaceful place you like to go - this can be any room where you sit comfortably - relax your whole body close your eyes - check out with what you sense - is happening throuhout your body stay really relaxed - start breathe real deeply slowly a series of long slow breaths - when you exhale make a sound that expesses a calmness of feeling - you could say ah-ah-ah whatever - feel how releasing that feels - you are leting go of all the tension - do it slowly take your time - keeping your eyes closed - close your eyes on the inside now - try imagine you are now inside closing your eyes on the inside - yes do it now - take some saliva into your mouth try to place this on your tongue - now think to yourself - be happy - yes - now smile - consciously swallow that smile into your heart - keep on breathing deeply slowly be relaxed - you become more deeply the way you want to feel - you have love for yourself - you breathe in love into your heart - sense the gentle warm feeling that comes to your mind - you feel calm you are at peace with yourself now - take a few moments and slowly very slowly - open your eyes !

I think of suicide constantly. It's a very interesting concept and a fascinating subject. But I never thought of killing myself and never have attempted it. I'm pro suicide, but I don't practice it.

I think that your freedom and your love is the most important thing on earth. You are free to take your life, and also free to hurt the people who love you. But that wouldn't be an act of love towards them, wouldn't it?

Love is the answer, most of the time. When love fails (I don't think it can fail) then everything else is admittable.
