do they strive to fill all space once created,meaning,post field creation,does the static field expand indefinitely,of course ever weaker but never becoming zero?

A quantum universe requires a limit to size and duration.
It also requires a finite universe and therefore the magnetic field will eventually diminish to zero.

It depends on the strength of the field and the distance from it. Of course its inversly proportional to the square of the distance so , at some point it has to end.
