yes. and we deserve to get away with stuff too. it makes up for the fact that we have to experience so much physical discomfort in our lives.

When it comes to infanticide etc it certainly seems that way. Woman kills her child, they might call it postnatal depression or some kind of mental illness. Man kills his child, its always murder/manslaughter.
