A friend showed me this amazing trick, and I want to know how to do it! She had a regular glass bottle (no seams, cuts, or anything) and a wooden stick (the sawed off top of a broom handle - ha) that fit perfectly into the top of the bottle. The stick is in the bottle, but there is a nail through the end of it! There is no possible way to have 'shoved' the nail through the top of the bottle, and the nail wont go past the neck!!! Amazing, huh? I want to figure out how she got the nail into the stick that is in the bottle.

I was searching around online, and I found an article about how to do it, but it required a credit card #, and I dont want to give that out online. :)
Here is a preview of the article (aka: what is need for this)

I just cant put it all together! Any help is appreciated!

I do not have an answer for you, but I have a site with more of these impossible puzzles:
http://www.johnrausch.com/PuzzleWorld/toc.asp?t=_cat/io001.htm&m=cat/io000.htm
If you get the main page, the category is called impossible objects.

Your presume the nail to actually be one solid piece. Maybe it isn't. That would simplify things, wouldn't it?
