FIRST you have to be an ENROLLED MEMBER of a "FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED TRIBE'
Depending on your tribe you might have something coming.
There are no GENERAL benefits, with exception of Commodity foods, and Indian Health Services, but I don't know if you'd really want to call them "benefits"
IF you LIVE on the Rez you do not have to pay FEDERAL taxes but you DO have to pay ALL other taxes.
The NO TAXES thing only applies to "First Nations" in CANADA.
IF your tribe has resources such as Timber, Natural Gas, Mineral Mining Rights, you may qualify to get "per capita" checks.
If your tribe has a casino, you MIGHT qualify for those monies, IF your tribe has none of these things, you get nothing.
Either way you MUST be an ENROLLED MEMBER OF A FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED TRIBE to qualify for ANYTHING.

1/8 is negligible, really. Your children won't have any native genes at all, unless you marry someone who is part native, and more than 1/8.
No benefits for you.

I'm with whoever's above me. If you are native, you should worry more about your culture. You are a shame to all other Natives out there, and truth be told, we don't want people like you.
