Mark Cuban has shown an interest in buying the Chicago
Cubs. If a man like George Steinbrenner can own the
Yankees, why can't Mark Cuban own the Cubs?
We know that baseball has lost a lot of integrity over the
years(Bud Selig as commisoner!), but i feel Mark Cuban
might be very interesting as a major league baseball owner.

As a Cubs fan, I would love to see Mark Cuban owning them. However, you have to remember that the other Major League owners must approve the sale of the team - not just the little whiny used car salesman from Milwaukee. Unfortunately, Cuban does not fit in with the "old boys club" that the current owners are basically made of. Also, the owner of the White Sox, Jerry Reinsdorf, is very powerful. I seriously doubt he would ever allow someone as dynamic as Cuban to own the Cubs. He would much rather have someone running the team in the north side that won't take away any of his clout with the Chicago fans.
So, do I think that Mark Cuban should own the Cubs? Most definitely.
Do I think Mark Cuban will ever own the Cubs? Very doubtful I'm afraid.

lol, good question my friend. I'm a diehard cubs fan, and I would love to see mark cuban buy the cubs. He would spend any amount of money to make it happen. But, bud selig is a complete joke, a won't allow it to happen. Bud selig has some grudge againest the cubs, that has been long known. Mark cuban would probably make baseball just that little more interesting. I would give my left arm for him, but we all know it wont happen.

Maybe, but then don't forget that George Steinbrenner is old and the Yankees will need an owner. What does Mark Cuban do anyway?

I'd love to see Mark Cuban become a MLB owner. Mark, buddy, there's a crap baseball team 500 miles southwest of Chicago that desperately needs a new owner. PLEASE buy the KC Royals instead of the Cubbies.

I would love to see him at Wrigley Field after a bad call. Jumping onto the field and having to be restrained by Lou Piniella and kicking over bases and throwing equipment onto the field.

Why not? If a jerk like Selig can run baseball, why not have a millionaire idiot own a team? While we're at it, let but Bonds in charge of security!

yes and i think it would be awesome. you could see him sitting front row arguing with umps about bad calls and getting in their faces and getting fined. i think it would be very cool and interesting for baseball.
