What's wrong with you people?? No, it is not ironic. Eating meat has nothing to do with pumping steroids into your veins! Jeez, people!
And besides, the word you would be looking for would be "Hypocrisy"...And even then, it's not really hypocritical... Think about it, you might playfully punch your buddy, and I'm sure you think murder is wrong?
SAME THING!

Oh come on! It's meat! Throw it on the BBQ and slap some seasoning and sauce on it and it's fine. Mmmmmm, Beef it's what's for dinner.
I don't ***** about baseball players or football players. It's their body and if they want to pump it up with steroids it is their choice. Choice. choice, choice.

No. It might be hypocritical or contradictory, but not irony. Irony is more like sarcasm. It would be like me saying "I never go on to Yahoo! Answers," or "oh, I just love Celine Dion!"
Irony is the use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.

Yes. Same with people who b*tch about gay marriage but engage in homosexual behavior (*cough* LARRY CRAIG *cough*)... Oh, the irony.
