...Why don't other users of this website do what I do? If you don't like it...don't read it, or respond to it...if you see a question you don't like...skip it. If you get an answer to one of your questions that you don't like...skip it.

Why am I the only one who seems to understand that this website is "user's choice" when it comes to material they view...?!? It's very simple, people...ignore it...if you don't like it...(duh!)...

I find this question utterly offensive. and yet, I was compelled by forces unknown to answer and make a pest of myself. then again, it may have just been the vodka.

Sometimes, I skip over a question that truly intrigues me, for my own personal reason.

Other times, I answer a question I don't want to answer for some random ridiculous reason.

Why do birds fly?

To answer your question, humans are hypercritical beasts with egos the size of beach balls.

In general, I'd agree with you, but there are a couple of forums, religion and this one specifically that get INUNDATED with useless drivel so that decent questions are immediately pushed off the page. It's not fair to those that pose legitimate questions and not in keeping with th espirit of these forums.

you are right, this is a user's choice website. many people out there though feel they need to pronounce their displeasure in the mindset that their opinion truly matters to everyone, it does to some people, and unfortunately that only fuels their blind ideals of importance. they simply do not realize that they are only a few of many and to tell them so would only mean reducing one's self to their level

You are not alone. The idea of the report button is nonsense. The best way to "fight" bad questions and answers or trolls is ignoring the person.

Yes skip is the best idea.

Let me give you a hug.......poor you. Isn`t it tough to realize that one stands so alone in this big scary world? You as the "only one" wise under this entire yahoo population.?...!...? I feel for you as in my house I am the "only one" who takes the ice cream wrapping straight away to the rubbish bin.
I hope this gives you a bit of a comfort that at least in your pain you are not ALONE as other human beings on this big blue planet experience similar frustrations.

I 100% agree. If trolls are ignored, they disappear.

If they're reported, they create two new accounts because they know they're getting to someone.

Ideally your doing the same thing. If it doesn't bother you then why this comment? It's kind of like someone saying they hate peanut butter but they keep shoving it in their mouth by the spoonfuls.
