IF it had not been plugged in yet, leave it somewhere "warmish" for 48 hrs, then try it.

If no luck, and the packaging shows no sign of being washed, and the recipt is still OK, try contacting the supplier for a new one .. . HINT Don't say "And I promise my wife didn't wash it " in opening sentence, that's a giveawawy.

I'd be very careful about using something that went into a washer. Additionally using Hairdryers on electronic equiptment is very hazardous as they emit electrical radiation. To be safe, I'd return it and get a replacement, but if you insist on using the module, make sure the gold plated connections are clear of any chemicals/residue before inserting it into your computer. You may want to let it sit for a few days to let it airdry.

Ouch.

You may be still OK, though. I wouldn't suggest using the hair dryer on it. That can cause static electricity and wipe out a sensitive circuit component.

Once it has been dried, go ahead and install it, if it doesn't work, then you have the warranty.

good luck.

more than likely it's ruined. I would not risk using it. But I will say who is the stupid one for leaving it in your pants! Sure as heck not your wife, be a bit more grateful!

Ray your right this is a bit creepy with a female name and pic. Maybe just wanting attention of any kind

just let it air dry in a warm place for a few days . It should be fine if there is no mechanical damage to the connectors . The biggest risk is water under the chips. That will take a long time to dry.
