Whats with the penis enlargement craze?

Ok in this section I see more and more questions from men requesting ways to "make it bigger" and I am wondering whats with the obsession?

The average man is about 6" and the average woman has a vaginal canal that is between 3.5-5 inches. This being said, as the vagina is a muscle that can contract and expand, why do men seem to think they need 11" penis' to please a woman?

I do believe it to be porn, though often those guys look like shi* AND have ugly thin, or small equipment lol... What do you think it is? Is it porn in addition to the "notion" that a REAL man has a large penis? I am curious because of the questions, and my husband is my first and only so I dont know about all the other sizes and all that.

BUT I have heard horror stories from my friends who have experienced the 11" and the 5" and have said often that if a guy doesnt know what he is doing it doesnt matter what his size is. Ladies do you agree? Guys what is your take?

But is it really the same as women enlarging their breasts? Some women do it BECAUSE their husbands want them to, others do it because they want it. I dont think its the same thing... but I can see what you're saying. I asked many questions so as to provoke thought, and not receive blanketed or bland responses........

I think you are completely right about the porn. In past generations guys looked at pictures of nude women and felt good about themselves. Now they look at porn actors on the Internet with digitally-enhanced penises. Then they look down at their perfectly normal equipment and think something is terribly wrong.

No matter how skillful the over-endowed guys are, if they pump hard enough to satisfy themselves, they will hit the woman's cervix, and that is very painful. Not many women are into pain! Average is much better, but young guys whose sex education comes from porn have no idea what average is! So they come on here and whine about wanting to be bigger.

THANK YOU! The guy is the only one concerned. I would rather have a man with a smaller penis than a large one. The ones that have the larger size penis (past 8") think that because they are big they can automatically please the woman. The guys with the smaller ones (5-6") take more time to enjoy. If a man can please a woman without intercourse - then it doesn't matter what size they are! And even if they are small what are they going to do... NOTHING, just whine and complain. GET OVER IT!

As for comments about women being concerned with their breast sizes... Well, I am on the smaller side and I DON'T CARE. A lot of women are concerned because no matter what you wear - they are noticable. I would rather keep my smaller size than to have big ones. The only thing that I don't like is A LOT of fashion is made for large chested women, but personally I'm not going to go out and buy a set of boobs to go with my shirt.


I wish everyone would just learn to enjoy what they have.

I think it's insecurity. The same reason so many women are enlarging their breasts.

There was a time when only women became this insecure but now men fall victims also. Like with anorexia, it was something that happened to women only. Now it happens to men as well. I honestly believe it has to do with the emasculation of men in America.

I have read your additional details so I will comment further. You bring up a good point where pornography is concerned. Apparently it has become something so mainstream anymore that many women watch it. Quite possibly, women comment about what they see with men. Men, in turn, start to doubt themselves. I know, this is leading me back to my original statement about what has happened to men in this country but what are you going to do. I think that we play far too fast and loose with our bodies anymore and we really haven't begun to see the consequences of our actions. But they're coming, fast and, most likely, very ugly.

hmmm... such an intricate question

1) Ron Jeremy makes us all feel somewhat inadequate... but hey, at least Im better looking. lol

2) Advertising is a b*tch - allow me to explain. Anyone who has email gets 100 junk mails a week about this. Then you see all this crap on tv about enzyte... and "male enhancement". Basically, it makes men feel inadequate the same way magazines of rail thin women make women feel fat.

well..I've seen the big (over 12" and thats NO lie) and the small (3" max...and thats no lie either)....I prefer the med...(although big is kinda fun, if you do it right, nothing hurts...small you can't feel...) so...if it's big enough to feel and a guy knows what he's doing...well there ya go...
