It will not be FREE, as they are trying to convince people. Your taxes will go up, maybe about 45 % of your pay check will be automatically deducted to cover all this, as your taxes will be paying for more people than just your own. Government hand outs, is a way to keep people under their control. I am sure Obama and Hillary both would like to do this.
As far as Hillary old plan that failed back in her first lady days in the whitehouse, can you afford this:
Hillary manipulating the public with the slogan
"We're doing it for the children"
In 1994, HRC (Hillary Rodham Clinton) set out to redesign the American health-care system and convened a panel that drafted its plan secretly-in violation of federal law...The plan prescribed some eye-popping maximum fines:
$5,000 for refusing to join the government-mandated health plan
$5,000 for failing to pay the premiums on time
15 years to doctors who received "anything of value" in exchange for helping patients short-circuit the bureaucracy
$10,000 a day for faulty physician paperwork
$50,000 for unauthorized patient treatment
$100,000 a day for drug companies that messed up federal filings
When told the plan could bankrupt small businesses, Mrs. Clinton sighed, "I can't be responsible for every undercapitalized small business in America." When a woman complained that she didn't want to get shoved into a plan not of her choosing, the first lady lectured, "It's time to put the common good, the national interest, ahead of individuals." As for privacy, forget it: Her plan would have required people to carry national identification cards that embedded confidential patient information on computer chips.
Now consider further this: Hillary at that time ,was never elected to any office of public trust and never has been elected to any office in her life, when she tried to get this passed.
Can you even think of the all the damage she is going to do to Americans if she is elected to the highest position in the US. America will be doomed for sure.

First of all, America will never have a health care insurance program like the europeans. Plus we already have government health care in medicare, medicaid, Veterans hospitals, etc and they dont seem to want to lose that. If you dont think we need health care legislation spend enough time on the mental health section to be a top contributor and learn how few people who are down and out need health care. They are dying and we are letting them. The insurance companies are running up the prices with no real competition. This healthcare plan, albeit in its early stages, looks like it could really help our overall healthcare costs and improve healthcare. Since have we ever been as weak as the europeans. We can do this thing and get it done right. We just need to think of the best ways and people are fanning the flame with conspiracy theories of why it is not needed. They have health insurance, unless they get fired and put out of work or have a pre existing condition, then their attitude will change. Life humbles all. It will humble them. Spend some time in the health sections and you will have a true appreciation for the plight of the 14,000 people a day losing healthcare in the greatest nation on earth. Now that is the best answer you will get on this issue and truthful and accurate. Good luck in your own search for the truth. I remain, Your assistant

Hey we already have a "socialized fire care system"! They will come out and put out fires for free! No matter who you are! Even felons and other scum get free service. What we need to do is make it a 'pay or burn' system! That would sure make life better! Just think of the money I could make as a 'for profit' fire care provider! I could keep raising the rates cuz if ya don't pay, then you burn!

Free health care means you just pay for everyone else's with your taxes, which will go up about 15% according to modest estimates.

Nothing is free, it has to be paid for somehow........how about $7 dollars for a gallon of gas, or $10 for a gallon of milk......you may not pay the doctor for your service, you pay when you buy necessities. So if you never go to the doctor are you still willing to pay $7 a gallon for gas?

What makes you think it will be FREE?
Social Security is an insurance of sorts - is it free? hmmm what about all of those others dollar amounts they take out of your paycheck for your benefit should you need it?
Check out the other countries that have national healthcare - how much of their incomes are taxed to pay for it?
Try checking out another news source aside from watching Michael Moore's movies....

Universal healthcare means you don't allows big pharmas and insurance companies to rip people off.
It does not mean free. It is still paid for, but it is affordable and available to everyone (you aren't rejected from a policy if you have a medical condition).
Either Obama or Hillary are in favor of universal healthcare as are most of the other candidates because they know it's a hot topic.

You will never get "free" healthcare. Eventually there may be "Universal" healthcare, meaning it will be mandatory for everyone, but it's not going to be free.
It's pretty sad when your vote is based on how much someone is promising to give you. It's shallow, shortsighted perspectives like this that drag us all down.

It doesn't matter who wins. There never will be such a thing as "free" healthcare. Taxpayers will be footing the bill.

Neither. Nothing is free, especially health-care. Do you think doctors are suddenly going to work for free if Hillary becomes president? If Hillary or Obama get their way, your taxes will go way up and your access to quality health-care will go way down.
In Canada, a country with "free health-care", it's easier to get an MRI for your dog than it is to get one for your child.
