One I asked the question "Why should we legalize gay marriage?" and for details, I said," Hasn't marriage been defiled enough by divorce, adultery, and domestic violence?" Then, someone answered, "We shouldn't. So what your saying is because there are already problems with marriage we should add another one? That doesnt makes sense." How could he totally misunderstand my stance on gay marriage like that? Can't he tell that I'm against gay marriage, just like he is? Has that ever happened to you?

Thanks for asking, I want to get this off my mind:
At work I saw a man fixing a fence, he was kneeling with one knee on the ground, like proposing marriage. I quipped, smiling, "hey, we're not allowed to pray at work" (I think one should pray anywhere they want).
Gosh!
He snarls, "are you saying something against the Bible!?" I wasn't. I'm a comedienne and joke about many situations I see daily. If anything, my comment would indicate an attitude against our government separating church and state, or forbidding prayer in school (and workplace). It'd be suggesting our government is too restrictive.
Meat head. I think of him as Mr. Chip-On-The-Shoulder.

Hillary and alter - solid one! She replaced into First woman with bill for 8 years, and a senator from ny on account that! She is component to the concern - as are maximum applicants for Prez. Barack and the governors (Huckabe and Romney) are the three applicants who can tout 'substitute' - no person else has a top to.

You didn't sound like you were against gay marriage you sounded like you were making a derogatory point about marriage in general...and yes my point is often mistaken on Yahoo/Answers, but that may be due to having one too many while I type...

Yes, it happens all the time because people don't pay full attention to what others are saying. They hear a key word here and there and then their opinion immediately pops into their mind, which they then use as a reply to you.

I haven't had someone do exactly that, but I do get reamed by Conservatives who think I'm not Conservative enough. I have been told who my friends could be. Mostly, however, I get called names by the Left and that is just plain rude!

I ignore all that and just go on about my day.

Conservatives have been programmed to scream moronic slogans when challenged with facts and reason. Their subhuman little brains aren't capable of realizing whether the slogan they choose is even relevant or not. As long as they resist fiercely, reality can never reach them.
