have you ever asked your teacher a very stupid question what was it

I was in social one day and the girl in front of me asked

" how do we know dinosaurs were real"

the teacher, along with all the class looked at her and the teacher could barley supress the laughter and said
" uh..dinosaur bones" and then there was an awesome awkward silence as she realized that she had in fact, just asked that stupid question.

In response to Chriss - there may be no stupid questions, but there are an awful lot of inquisitive idiots (as many of you may have noticed . . . some may even be in this forum)

and since there apparently are no stupid questions, here are some vying for the position of least intelligent:

What color was the carpet in the hotel you stayed at?

Do you go home at night?

How come they have different questions on their test?
