Yes, sometimes things get so bad that I just want to crawl into a hole and pull the sod over the top of me. Knowing that I have the tendancy towards depression, I have to find ways to pull myself back from that path. I've been down that path too many times and know where it leads, and I don't want to go there any more. So, when I realize I'm heading down that path again, I talk to the Lord about it. Then, I put the radio on and blast the music, singing along with it at the top of my lungs. I always play positive music, nothing dark or sad. I listen to contemporary Christian music, where it's all positive. I also talk to my husband about my feelings. He's a lot like me too, so he understands. Finding someone to talk to about it really helps. Even as a Christian, I still feel down sometimes. It's not that God has left me. It's because I've wandered away from Him, and not sought Him out. Many years ago, before I had a relationship with the Lord, I wanted to end it all. I actually had plans of ending my life. It was a very good thing that I was too chicken to do anything about it. And it was just a matter of a short time before things changed and I moved on. I realize now that everything is temporary, except death. Sooner or later, everything works out, if given enough time. Thinking back now, I'm so glad I waited. I wouldn't be talking to you right now, nor have a husband (who is a much better man than the one that hurt me back then), or kids, or a grandson. While I still have feelings of depression once in a while and I just feel like running away, I know it's just a matter of time before things WILL change. Hope that helps. Be safe. <*)))><

As in what sense?
I get over whelmed with things, when I hit not enough sleep, and lots of stressful situations, I hit the brick wall and the only thing that can fix it is really good rest...
Life is full of stress... And never for a second would I give up... I Know one fine day it will all pay off... ♥

Sometimes, yes.
I hang in there and try to resolve the problems the best I can. Hang in there yourself. This week has been a nighmare for me beyond belief. I think I have finally reached my stress limit. Cannot take any more.

I always feel like giving up something. Once I give something up, I usually feel better. It lightens the load when you give something up.
