To be a professional fisherman is very hard work. Enjoyment is not an indicator to whether something is work or not; effort is. Even though you enjoy the effort, it doens't make it none the less work. So the qoute is logically flawed, though cute and funny. It'll go over well with rednecks and fishermen.

I'm listening to Celine Dion. Which means.. I don't agree with your quote. Work is for those with nothing better to do or that need to put food on the table.

If you are fishing enough to be able to afford gas in your car, clothes, electricity for your house, then you are most definitely working.
