This is a dumb question because all it does is invite the moronic, uninformed Quinn haters. You can't say Brady Quinn doesn't have weapons. Edwards and Winslow are both potential pro-bowlers, and Lewis still has what it takes (unless you are an idiot who doesn't pay attention to how he was used the last couple of years) You can't say he'll get sacked all the time with the line he's going to have (unless again, you're a complete moron who didn't notice the HUGE upgrades the Browns made on the o-line). Saying he choked in big games is STILL a stupid argument. He had a mediocre team around him and no defense at all.
I'm not going to say Quinn will be better and Leinart will turn into a piece of crap because that would be just as stupid as all the idiots who say Quinn is a bust. I will only say that Quinn has showed nothing but good things in every opportunity he's gotten, and this will be a more fair question after seeing what he's done with a year under his belt. But if you people would like to continue to show your stupidity by declaring him a bust without playing a single game, be my guest.

Brady Quinn. He is a better athlete capable of making all the throws. I give an advantage to Leinart in making better decisions simply because he seems to be more level headed and a better football mind, but not by much as he also seems to live it up too much in the California spotlight. Quinn appears to be more of a football junky wanting to work harder at making himself better, which may catch him up with Leinart in the decision making. Leinart is also slightly more accurate than Quin, but at the expense of his arm strength. Quinn has well-built physique that some think is getting in the way of his accuracy. The coaches will have cut back a little on his bulkiness if it continues to be problem and that should increase his accuracy. But, Quinn can still put the ball where it needs to be now. He can put some zip on the ball when he needs to put into tight spots and he can also heave down the field for big plays. Leinart doesn't have that. Quinn can also stand the beating he is going to take for the time being behind that line and he can move around and, if needed, pull the ball down and take off. Leinart is not big enough and I sometimes worry about his durability and unwillingness to move out of the pocket.
Right now, Leinart seems to be the better of the two based on experience, but in two or three years, you will see Quinn be much further along in his game than Leinart.

Matt Leinart was a better QB in college, he proved it by beating the Irish lead Brady Quinn all of theirs showdown. Well, in the Pro, Matt Leinart is still the better QB of the 2 and Matt Leinart got the better supporting cast to win alot of games for Arizona Cardinals. Plus Brady Quinn is not even a starter for the Browns yet to even make a case for him to be on the level with Matt Leinart. But anyway Fight On!! Fight On to Victory.

In all honesty it is near impossible to tell until we see Quinn get real action. Leinart has shown early moderate success. Quinn could go in and blow things up, but he could also continue his self-imploding under pressure that he showed at ND. All he has shown is pre-season play, and not much more than a bunch of dump and short passes. If I had to choose this very instant I would say Leinart, because his attitude is better about the game.

Playing in Ohio is like straying too close to a black hole for accomplished college QB's. My opinion says Matt Leinart has the goods on Quinn anyway. Ryan Leaf comes to mind when I think of Brady Quinn's future.
Where have you gone Bernie Kosar?

Considering that Brady Quinn has yet to play a single regular season NFL game, I'd say the nod goes to Leinart just because of experience.

thats a really good question, we will be able to answer you question in about 2 or 3 years...its going to depend on who can use their weapons they have the best, leinart has some incredible wr's and if god willing a solid running game...brady quinn is going to grab the team and lead them, he is going to find open guys, he will throw touchdowns...and he will make mistakes...it just depends on how he steps up and plays when he is down in the nfl..this isnt college anymore...you should ask that in december so i can really see how they play

Well, Leinart has much better targets to work with, and shouldn't get sacked as often, so Lienart will be better at least until Quinn gets traded.
