I don't know where you live, but if it's hot there, he's going to shed and he's going to be uncomfortable. He could be lonely as well. Even though he's fixed, he might need a friend just for companionship. My rabbits do those things to me when I'm in their territory while cleaning their litter box or what ever, but they don't bite me. You may want to have him checked by a vet to make sure he's not ill before you get him a friend.

Rabbits can have mood changes, just like people do. He might just be getting old and grumpy. Rabbits average from 7-10 years old when they are fixed like you said your is. First I would try to figure out if there was anything different about the rabbits situation and try to make the rabbit comfortable. You can try to find a rabbit specialist in your area and see if they can help. If the problem gets any more serious you may have to put the rabbit to sleep, I hope it doesn't come to that but a biting lunging rabbit is very hard to live with. I wish you luck.

Rabbits some time have territorial issues and this is what it is.He's not wanting a girlfriend. If he is nuetered and he's attacking you,he may also have a problem that you don't know about.I have raised rabbits for 12 yrs, most rabbits that are friendly for yrs and all of sudden become aggressive and growl and grunt at you are trying to tell you something is wrong with them,no girlfriends coz you are risking the other rabbits life.

I agree with Bobbie F,he probably wants a mate! You could have him neutered.

Better get him a girlfriend. He is after YOU. Even if he is fixed he has feelings. He really may need a companion.
