i think that if you actually DID have an ideal partner and you could choose every one of their features,
would it really end up being... well, ideal??
because if anyone was 100% perfect for you, wouldn't it become boring after a while...
i personally believe i will fall in love with someone with many differences than me, and many flaws too. because their flaws highlight their great qualities, it would make them all the more "ideal.".
just my view.

He wouldn't be perfect, because I'm not perfect.
He wouldn't always say the right things, because I don't always say the right things.
He would love me...and I would love him.
The good, the badd, and the ugly.
The ideal partner essentially would contain one quality and one quality only** He loves me no matter what ....muddy and all....when I wake up in the morning and my hair is everywhere...(he would still think I'm pretty) he would help me with household chores and hold me at night if I had a baddd dream! I would cook for him every evening and get his breakfast in the morning...(because I get up earlier) but he would appreciate all things that I do for him, including folding even his underwear nice and neat.

Someone that will accept me for who I am. I'm not rich but I live comfortable. I'm not athletic but I'm not a heavyweight. I don't have movie star looks. I'm an average Joe. But from other questions and answers here on Y/A to many women are looking for exact opposite of what I am. I should also add many men are the same way with the women their looking for.

The one I am with now... funny, smart, easy to talk to, wierd, goofy, crazy at times, loves me for me, accepts me, and makes me feel like a better person... thats all that really counts. Altho it does help that he would do anything for me. I could sit on my butt all day and he would wait hand and foot on me... if I let him. It's fun to spoil each other sometimes.
