I, too, am a huge fan of both rodents and 'bugs'. One of my best friends is a rodent, Sisko. He's a chinchilla I've had for thirteen years. I also like butter and dragon flies (Pretty!), spiders, (Awesome talents - wish I were Spiderman!) and ants and bees (clever societies).
For all those who said, "rodents carry disease," think again. A rodent can't give you any disease another person can't, and the bad ones, like rabies, they are most often too small to live long enough to spread. In fact, it's the 'bugs' - fleas and ticks - that live on rodents that spread diseases in the past like the plague. It's actually a 'bug' - mosquitoes - that spread more disease and kill more people than any other animal on the planet.

A rodent for sure! Bugs only bite, rodents will chew on small babie's drool a night.

Rodents can carry and spread parasites and bacteria on a large scale. Bugs generally don't. I'd have to say that rodents are worse, unless it's someone's pet, where it is kept in a sanitary area.

Since selling rodents and bugs (tarantulas too) is part of what I do for a job every day, neither bothers me, but I do not like running into spider webs unexpectedly.

Rodents are worse. You can smash a bug, but you have to CATCH a rodent.

I think it is a sad question. Because I love both rodents and bugs. I try not to kill any bugs and I own 2 beautiful female rats. I take offense to your poorly worded question. Ok not to much but I have been sick for 2 days and I am kinda moody. Ok sorry I am rambling ok but yea I like both.
