That for all of my imperfections and quirks, I did the best I could, smiled often, listened, encouraged them to explore and enjoy life, do their best, be positive, and respect those around them.
That and I goofed around a lot.
A playful heart is a happy one.

They're at the age to do that and they take pride in the fact that their parents were "weird" and they were the envy of their friends. I'm now in the process of teaching my grandchildren how to have an imagination.

My first won't even remember me. My daughter will probably only remember me being load all the time.
I wish they could both know me now.
