I need help on wording for a letter of reference of employment... just a few sentences about "Joe Smith" is employeed with us, and something about their position with the company. Maybe just a sentence or too of their work ethics (not really needed though.)

From the way i read your letter, you were both colleagues even though you were her senior. As such a reference from you would be a personal reference NOT an employers business reference. All you need to say is how long you knew her and to the best of your knowledge she has the qualities and experience needed for the post she is applying for. Leave it at that.
