what are you doing writing here how lazy of you, you should be waitressing the overnight shift so you can make more money to give your partner so they can get their unemployeed butt back in their car so they can meet the honey they have on the side they are cheating on you with.
how selfish of you. here you have this wonderful partner so ready and willing to take their valuable time to point out to you your failures and shortcomings and you dont have the gratitude or decency to help them get back on their feet and get their vehicle back.
i feel so sorry for that person you are with. to be stuck with a person like you who does everything for them except help them when they really need it. cause getting that vehicle back is how they get away from you.
cause you are not smart enuf yet to just get away from them. permanently.

It blows my mind that anyone would marry a person like that because I'm sure there was a long enough engagement to really get to know him and his little quirks and bad habits and bad attitude and that it was decided by the other party that those would be overlooked and that he was still a good catch for some unknown reason.

Eeeee....this sounds suspiciously like what my husband could potentially turn into a few years. We've only been a married for a year but separated for a similar reason.
Does he also expect you to compromise all your other interests, friends, family & work for him? If so, it's not a question of blowing one's mind, but it's domestic violence. I was only recently made aware of this & I'd like to pass it on given how useful I've found it.

My mind was blown at "you pay all the bills and take care of the kids and he doesn't work". Anything else is just icing on the cake.

What in God's name are you doing with him? It is clear that the guy is a good for nothing. Kick him out of the house. He should be the one working. And do not pay his fine.

Sounds like he's got a major case of depression to me.
Doesn't mean you shouldn't kick him out the door, just means that there's usually some kind of underlying cause.

"Blow my mind" is putting it mildly. I believe I would tell him to get off his lazy behind and start contributing to the family or he will have to learn to do everything on his own once I walk out the door.

Sweet talking, excuse giving, con artist! Tell your "mate" that there are rules to civilized living and he/she needs to follow them or find another person to fix their problems.
