When it no longer fits in the container. For example, you have too much milk if you can't get all the jugs into the fridge. You have too many clothes if you can't get the closet door shut.
When you can't possibly use it all in your life time.
When you have so much, that you can't find anything specific.
When you start to get bored. For example, TV and conversations.
When you have to unsnap your jeans. :)
When it becomes destructive. Floods, for example, are too much water. Tornadoes, too much wind.

that depends on what you are talking about. if horsepower or torque, if some is good, and more is better, then too much is still not enough.
