I've never seen such 'cherry-picking' in my life!

The new Con/Republican warcry:
The Dems and bin Laden are 'brothers in arms'!

Is this called 'grasping at straws' when facing a landslide defeat in the upcoming elections, or what?

What would make the Repubs made about the tape?
1) He uses complete sentences and multiple syllable words.
2) He is still alive
3) Points out the obvious about the current administration
4) Misses the point about changing foreign policy and instead just asks everyone in the US to convert to Islam... which at this point might be easier than changing the Corporate driven foreign policy....

What makes Repubs happy about the tape.
1) He is still alive and we can use that to scare everyone in the US to giving up more of their rights in the name of self protection.

I went to the middleeast and was asked to meet Bin Ladin.I declined. I could'nt venture a half a mile without soldiers .I wore a small American flag at times as I walked in and out of certain boundries. I could look into their eyes and hear their voices.Thats how far I felt that it would be safe. The American people who serounded me in the Middle East where accompanied by armed guards.I wa so upset with the left and the right hand of Washington. Than got tossed in the fire ball of Florida legislation, robbed me blind that I went to the Middle East. did'nt care if I lived or died. United Nations showed me their darkside I reported everything that I saw. And asked for my phones to be tapped by DC Iasked the FBI to give me a lie decter test.I have many issues pending, questoning the United States government involvment in truth and justice for the civil rights of Americans. Had it not been for George W. Bush trip to jordon. He is my hero even though I may say bad things reguarding my opinion. You want to know about Bin Ladin Everybody is guiltyevery child lost is tragicnot to mention the Fathers. If this means anything.

A new Zogby International poll released yesterday shows that 51% of Americans (up from 45% last year) want Bush and Cheney to be directly investigated for their actions on 9/11 and 67% fault the 9/11 Commission for their failure to probe the anomalous collapse of WTC 7.

Hours after the release of the poll Bin Laden pops up and promises us a new editorial comment. Coincidence? Precisely the same thing happened last year. On May 23rd 2006, a Zogby poll was released showing nearly half of Americans wanted a new 9/11 investigation. The very next day, Bin Laden popped up to reinforce the official version and threaten new attacks. Can lightening strike twice in the same place?

Oh they've always been saying that since 9/11, its ridiculous and offensive rhetoric, they used this kind of thing to defeat fmr Georgia Senator Max Cleland, (D), who lost both his legs and an arm in Vietnam by implying that he was unpatriotic because he didn't support the "War on Terror" this may boost GOP ratings temporarily, but soon it will fade into the news cycle. But if it does, the Democrats have to deal with a difficult political reality, in general the American people do view Republicans as tougher on terrorism, 9/11 changed the political landscape and Democrats need to find their footing so they are considered more credible on the issue of terrorism.

i have to tell you the truth, sorry. i do not think your question is phrased well enough to answer it in my usual verbose depth.

but make no mistake: the islamofascists (muslims are 7 to 1 non muslim in total population of the world, growing exponentially due to no. of wives allowed--bin laden was one of 53 of his father's children!) are NOT to be taken with a grain of salt. they are out to DESTROY everyone on earth that is not a muslim. that is their stated goal, and if you think bin laden is a political patsy for fun and games, you do not have your head on right.

bin laden & now, sadly, al queada cells no longer under his control who all hate each other too, and definitely, are inside of our country, have grown, have money, seek out highly educated new members, such as more engineers like bin laden is, and even MDs because we trust doctors, are wreaking havoc everywhere in the world. any american that sells them arms is a traitor & should be prosecuted as such.

too bad that we had the golden opportunity towards the end of the gulf war to drop a few (not thermonuclear) atomic bombs at strategic points in the entire middle east to put an end to the madness, but bush sr. obeyed congress & we pulled out.

9-11 probably never would have happened if we showed them our might and power back then.

are you an american? or are you a patsy?

I don't know. Most of Osama bin ladens points on the tape seem to go along with the Democrat parties talking points a little too well. Hmmmmm. Maybe Osama will run against Hillery for the nomination. Knowing the Dems...Its any ones race!!!

If you've read the transcripts, Ted Kazinski wrote the speech. And John Edwards did the make-up. How perfect...

"I saw a werewolf drinking a Piña Colada at Trader Vic's
And his hair was perfect."---Warren Zevon, "Werewolves of London."

(Short answer-- Better not let him in...)

It just goes to show how dumb terrorists really are.

I personally think Bin Laden is in heaven with his thirteen male virgins.

Why should it be? Didn't Bush promise to get Bin Laden "dead or alive"? Instead he is stronger than ever and still a threat to the US. The Repubs should be embarrassed.
