I have the same problem.
One thing that would help is waking up earlier. Of course, that's not exactly a fun thing to do, but it does make the day feel a bit longer.
Another thing to do is avoid distractions. Try not to be pulled from tasks by other things that may be going on.
Try to make a list of what you plan to do for the day and accomplish it.
Just don't leave things until the last few hours of the day probably...try not to delay tasks. Just get them over with.
Be motivated if you can.
I've also found that a better mood and health work towards an increased ability to work.
I hope you'll be able to use the day more effectively!

Organization. Planning. I suggest that you make a plan for what you want to accomplish. You could make yourself a plan each day in the morning for that day, in the evening for the next day, or plan several days or a week in advance. Write down the things that you want to get done. Assign a time period in which you will do it. Keep records of how much time the tasks took you, so that you will be able to improve your planning. Sometimes the reason we feel we accomplish very little is that things take much longer than we anticipate. If you give a task a one hour time slot but it actually takes the entire day, you will feel frustrated that all the other tasks went undone. You also need to prioritize your tasks. What is most urgent or most important? Which task are you least inclined to tackle? Which will take the most time? These are the tasks that should usually be scheduled first. Then the less important tasks will be the ones that have to be rescheduled.
There will always be too much to do and you will never have enough time. So, in order to feel satisfied about what you are accomplishing --organize, plan, and prioritize. And remember that you, like everyone else, have 24 hours each day. Use them to do what you want!

Keeping organization in your life is not easy when starting but making it a routine will make your life so much more managable. Make sure you keep appointments and tasks to be done in a planner or even on your phone is you have a calendar. Find ways to multi-task. Prepare for things in advance. Get things like clothes and lunch ready the night before and learn how to get it done quickly. In the morning you will be more relaxed to focus on the important stuff. I know how you feel, sometimes we feel like chickens running around with our heads cut off. You can only do so much in a day, make time for yourself and remember to relax. Life is very short, so don't use up all your time on Earth trying to get things done. Enjoy Life.

time management.... make a schedule and a to do list.... make a list of things you NEED to get done and a things you WANT to do.... You have to take into consideration what it more important as well is what is needed... yes, we may not always want to go to work because we'd rather be with our kids but we need to go to work to be able to support our family... just make a list and put the things in order as to which they need to get done... if you find you have any spare time, try to jump start another thing that you NEED to do but only jump start the project so that you can have time for other fun/personal activities... I actually took a college class that was based on time management.... i just summed up the class for you but really, prioritize and things that you can put off a day or two, do it (but don't procrastinate... there is a difference!)! It's not going to hurt!

Make a schedule for everything, and try not to pack things all in one day. Do things of higher importance first - and if yo uhave any big projects, try to do it over time. If you ever get something new to do, be sure to try fit it in your schedule as soon as possible. Try to eat quick meals (but don't wolf down food). Get up early i nthe morning, sleep early at night. At night you get tired and you lose speed and focus. Why don't yo uask help from friends to help you complete some of your tasks?

Before you go to bed every night, write out a to do list on a post it and post it where you can see it in the morning. Make sure you get everything you want done, done on that day.

start with the most important task of the day and work your way down. get yourself in a routine and than things will go easier for you .but if you get the hardest, toughest, longest ones out of the way first the easier ones wont take so long. is there any one who you could give some of your task to to lighten the load.

For me it really helps to make a list. I seem to get more done because I don't fine myself straying off course.
Try to cluster similar duties/jobs together.

procrastinate
the pressure of getting something done and multiple late notices and such creates stress
the stress often turns to determination and wanting to get done to get those muthafuckers to shut up about "getting it done"
at least, thats how it works for me
