Is this the first Seinfeld episode?

Question

Okay, Jerry is trying to figure out if this girl likes her or not, and finds out she's engaged. And George doesn't like coffee unless it's decaf. And Kramer didn't run through the door and nobody clapped like they usually do. And I didn't see Elaine. And they continuesly showed Jerry on stage.

So, is it the pilot episode?

Jerry is excited that a woman he met on the road is coming to visit him in New York. However, he has a tough time discerning whether her intentions are romantic or platonic.

I believe the first episode starts just the way the series ended with Jerry and George talking about the way George has buttoned his shirt. They're in the diner. Jerry is expecting a house guest (a woman) from out of town and they're discussing whether or not she's coming into town to also sleep with Jerry or not. Jerry wants to know what to expect like should he get a roll-a-way bed for her or what. George is convinced that no woman asks to stay over at a man's apartment without expecting to sleep with him. Jerry is worried that she is coming to stay with him as a friend only.
It turns out Jerry was right because the woman is engaged as he finds out when she arrives.

As I recall the Jerry's apt. was different in the first episode.

I don't know for sure if it's the pilot, but Elaine wasn't added until the second or third episode, so it could have been. All of the first 8 episodes featured cuts to Jerry on stage. It was super irritating.
