I am pregnant with twins. We are thinking they are both girls right now, but not 100% sure. Sooo....I was thinking of naming them after my grandma Lydia (who passed away last year, the day before my wedding), and my aunt Gloria (who was my favorite aunt of all time). Some more names are listed below. But anyways, I am going to spell Lydia like my grandma, but Gloria with an "h" at the end. So their full names will hopefully be like this:

Baby girl #1 names:

Lydia Nicole
Veronica Starr
Maylen Joan
Annie Rae
Jordin Faye

Baby Girl # 2 names:

Gloriah Rose
Sammy (short for sammantha) Lynn
Rayleigh Vee
Chasandra Hope or Joy (can't choose on a middle name between Hope or Joy)

My favorite names are Lydia and Gloriah because they'll remind me of ones that have passed away and never be forgotten.

What do you think? I also want some suggestions, but don't go too crazy where you're leaving 700 names. Thanks a lot!

you should go with Lydia Nicole and Gloriah Rose. I named my children after my mom and uncle who passed away. Their names are Raychael Lee and Fredrick Alexander. Good idea of naming them after people. Poor you, you lost your grandma the day before your wedding. Poor thing. But good luck. If you don't choose those names go with Jordin Faye and Chasandra Joy.

I agree with you, I like Lydia and Gloria best. What about Lydia Joy and Gloria Hope? Or Lydia Joy and Gloria Rose?

Well, if you've already chosen Lydia and Gloriah, I say go with those names.
Veronica sounds like Archie's comicbook friend. Starr reminds me of Starr Jones.
Maylen sounds made up. Joan is good
Annie is a good name, Rae is beautiful.
Jordin is ok. Faye is an old lady

Samantha Lynn's ok
Rayleigh Vee is terrible
Chasandra isn't a favorite of mine.

Go with Lydia and Gloria

Majority rules! Lydia and Gloria are my winners too. Not crazy about Nicole as a mn. I have to agree with previous poster who said Gloriah will always have to explain the spelling of her name. Better without the h. LOVE Rose with Gloria, it's beautiful.

I have to be honest. You did ask for opinions. I really don't care for the others. Maylen is cool (spell it Maelyn or Maelynn?) Jordin is an "oldie but goodie"....like it.

What about Morgan or Lila?

Anyway, there's my opinions!
Good luck!

I love Maylen but not with Joan....maybe Maylen Starr or Maylen Nicole?

I prefer Gloria without the H. The baby will always have to tell people my name is Gloria....with an H. or they will always spell it wrong and it will just be a hassle for her. Sorry, but I do not like any of the other Baby #2 names besides Gloria. and I think rose goes very well with it.

I like Lydia Nicole and Gloriah Rose. My middle name is Lydia and I've always loved it....The names are very old fashioned, but they are so cute! Plus, It will remind you of your loved ones. After those two, my favorites are Maylen Joan and Rayleigh Vee. They are super cute and way unique! Good luck and good choices!!

Girl 1: Lydia Nicole
Girl 2: Gloriah Rose.

They're both beautiful, feminine names and they have a deeper meaning behind them. I love them both.

You should definately use Lydia and Gloriah as at least part of the names since they mean so much to you.
Would you consider Lydia Faye and Gloriah Nicole? I think those sound great.

I was also thinking of
Paige Lydia
???? Gloriah- that one is tough. Maybe Mae Gloriah?
