I've tried others and I always return to Comcast. I have Comcast phone, cable and high-speed internet access.

Had Comcast originally, then switched to Directv because we wanted the NFL Sunday Ticket football package. We weren't very happy with the equipment they originally gave us. They were really old boxes (refurbished), and when we asked to have a better or updated boxes, they told us "no" - that their only responsibility was to provide us with Directv service and that was it. So we had to take what they gave us. We ended up going out and buying an updated new box later from a local store, because the old box was soooo slow to respond when changing channels or paging up and down the TV guide. As far as the service itself was concerned, whenever the weather was cloudy or rainy, we would lose reception. After 4 years, we ended up switching back to Comcast. Now we are stuck with 3 Directv boxes and can't get rid of them.
As far as programming is concerned, the things I liked about Directv were the Sports Channels/package and XM Radio channels. But you will probably have to deal with poor/no reception if the weather is bad. If you prefer On Demand and movies, and also have high speed internet, Comcast is the way to go. They have the bundling package that can save you money. Plus, you get new equipment. They also have sports packages, but I don't believe they have the NFL games like Directv.

Hello Jason,
hope you're doing fine!
I'd clearly vote for Dish cause:
- cheaper
- more channels and more variety
- awesome picture quality
You might check out the source below. They currently run some promo with free Dish and DVR you might take advantage of. If you have any questions just call 'em up, they are professional and helpful.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes
Jenny

Dish, if you want to pay a fortune. We have most of the channels (excluding Showtime and Sundance), plus HD and it costs us about 125 a month. Pretty expensive for 300 plus channels of NOTHING!
