Could be either an egg sac or a ball of webbed up substrate. If its all white and she's guarding it then you have an egg sac. If it just looks like a mass of stuff, then its probably just substrate she wrapped up.

I have a rose hair also and have had her for about 3 years. I saw her wrap up a cricket with a bunch of webbing the other day, I guess to save it for later or something. By the time she was done, you couldn't even tell what was in there. It was the first time I ever saw her do that. So maybe that's it. Wouldn't be an egg sac unless you had an opposite sex tarantula in there with it.

OMG! I have a Costa Rican Tiger Rump tarantula that had babies. We had the spider for just about a month when we decided to clean out the web ball. Turns out she had babies and there we're only 3 found. I'm hoping they ate eachother but it's possible they crawled out of the screen. I'd get rid of that web ball asap.

How long have you had it? if you haven't had it for very long,it may have bred with a male at some time, and this is an egg sac. You'll probably be having up to 500 babies! Oh,my,that's a lot of little spiders!
