They have played a psychological trick on you.
Possibly they have gotten you to reveal your expectation by your reaction. Or they got you to reveal your hope or your fear or your insecurity. In any case, they have gotten from you an unplanned, possibly unintended, response. That response could be a simple utterance, a startled jump, an emotion, a sigh of relief, or any of many other things as a result of sudden surprise or reasoned revelation.

A more grammatical statement from the joker would be
"I psyched you." or "I psyched you out."

3. psych
The newest nad coolest show on the USA network..it follows the life of Shawn Spencer(James Roday) and his friend Gus(Dule Hill)as they solve murder cases for the Santa Barbra Police Department. Shawn has a photographic memory to help him thanks to his father Henery Spencer(Corben Bernsen) who is an ex cop and tried to force Shawn to grow up and become a detective. Shawn is pretty lazy and too interested in having fun and dating hot chicks to go thru the long process of being a cop detective so he uses his PG memory a a fake "Psycic" pretending to get preminnisions and having the ability to communicate with the dead.
other characters incude: Carlton Lassiter(tim omendsun),Julliet O'Herra(maggie Lawson) and Keren Vick(kristen nelson)
see www.usanetwork.com/psych or go to google.com and type in the word psych.

Psych is a pretty funny show next to Monk.

The only show better than Psych and Monk is "THE CLOSER"!!!
