This question really isn't a yay or nay answer but a personal decision. It depends on the individual, their beliefs, and lifestyle. Some people don't put to much emphasis on sex while others faith tells them to wait for marriage. Some people who waited for marriage to have sex said it was worth it while others who didn't wait still have a happy marriage and vice versa.

i use to think Yay.
But... since i am not married and have had plenty of sex.
Sex is the easy part!
Its the marriage part or getting engaged part is the hard part.
Sure you are missing out on a lot of fun and pleasure.
But like i said that is the EASY PART!
If i would do it all over again,
I would spend my efforts getting to know my partners first!
Holding off on the sex until married... would be sort of like a reward???
Its a win win situation.
You learn to live with your partner. Get to know him/her... then
then.. when you know things are compatable... you can reward yourselves with great sex! and mean it!

at first i was against it, but now im not. i guess for me, the reasons my parents had given me had not been the same reasons i, personally, would have done it for. they said that having sex b4 marriage would decrease a woman's value, and that is totally sexist from my pt of view!!! so i gave up my virginity at age 20 and although i wish i would have waited a bit longer im fine with the decision i took. I do agree that it is not something to be taken as lightly as most ppl take it, but thats just me! :P

Nay. Too many problems can arise later on in life, if not at that time.
