The purpose of the U.S. military is to provide the L.I.B.S. the freedom to knock the military without the fear of a bullet to the head for such knocking.

The illiberals don't think there's a purpose. The radical leftests have said that we don't need a military.

At least they will have Hillary Clinton's health-care when the Islamofacist sets a nuke off in their city.

Wow, my husband is in the military and I would consider us both liberals, as well as many other people in the military. Are you in the military? Can you really speak for everyone? This is pretty insulting with all the sacrifices my husband and I have made.

The pupose of the military is to DEFEND our great nation and NOT to be used to further, narrow personal or special interest agendas OR to build empires.

If you think this is untrue, consult a useful document known as the US Constitution

ive noticed you need to call anything not in line with the rigid republican line liberal, ok, anyways...

the military is used to extract the labor and resources of foreign, and domestic, people, and prevent them, or other countries from benefiting from them.
It is also used as a way to shift vast sums of money from the poor, middle, and even upper class, to the truly elite. It prevents peoples from using their money on themselves.

they pretty much tell you their goal, World domination and the domination of space. "full spectrum dominance" is their latest concept. keeping americans safe is just a cute little cliche for the naive.

they will capture you and force you to kill and die if it suits them, but they call it a draft and say they only do it when absolutely necessary, necessary for them, not you.

its interesting you call yourself free thinker and a conservative at the same time. why classify yourself that way? does it benefit you,or just limit your options of thouht?

Peer pressure, everybody has one.
The problem with the US military is, its to gigantic and to costly and inefficient, did I mention gigantic and inefficient.
The US military was build up for a cold war with the USSR, a posturing, knucklehead, chest thumping, worthless military. Our military can rumble over any country in the world in six days flat and then what? What do we get out of it? Please, let me know.

the NATION'S SECURITY....

any other jobs they may be involved in is all for the good of foreign affairs internationally.....

but that doesn't mean, when we want a war we'll just get them ready for battle.....that is why our leaders are to do their homework to ensure the security of our country first BEFORE we step out into someone else's soil......

Most countries have a military to protect their borders.
The US has a military to attack and occupy other countries. Normally without a good reason.
