A particle moving along the x axis is located at 13.3 m at 1.77 s and at 4.25 m at 3.47 s. Find its displacement during this time interval? (answer in m)

Distance travelled = 4.25 -13.3 = 9.05m
Time taken.............= 3.47 - 1.77= 1.7s
The displacement in 1.7 s= -9.05m

The particle moving along the x-axis, consisted with the speed of light ( 3 x 10 exp 8 m/s) the displacement- time formula with the speed of light.... and then subtract the two variables displacement x1 and displacement x2... the RESULT Displacement is the ANSWER.......

Take the final location and subtract the initial location from it. If the answer is negative (as it will be here), the displacement is to the left.
