Pregnancy normally is not symptomatic this early.

However, if you have a normal cycle (28 days between day one of your periods, about 5 days of bleeding), you had sex just on the cusp of your most fertile time.

It's been a while since I have tried to conceive, but my recollection is the following: Women tend to ovulate about 14 days after the first day of their period. Sperm can live at least 3 to five days in the female body. If you ovulated a smidge early, you could be pregnant. It could be implantation pain. Or, it could be something completely different (like a gastro-intestinal infection).

It is absolutely possible you are pregnant. Take a test a week or two to see. Next time, please either abstain, or use a couple of reliable forms of contraception to save yourself the stress.

The cramps don't really sound like implantation pain, as that tends to be rather transitory, but you could still be pregnant. It is not unlikely. The timing of intercourse is rather unfortunate if you were not trying to conceive a baby.

Edit:
Some people mistakenly believe that ovulation tends to occur 14 days after your period ENDS. This is not normally the case. It is 14 days after your period STARTS. That is a huge difference. Either way, if you don't want to have a baby under any circumstances, natural family planning is not the best option. I use it, and have had no problems, but I am married, track my cycles, basal temperature, and cervical discharge religiously, and if I did get pregnant, it would be inconvenient, but not a disaster.

Well, it's probably too early for pregnancy symptoms, they don't usually arise until after 4-6 weeks pregnant. As well, it's not very likely that you had sex during at point where you would be most fertile. Most women ovulate about halfway through their cycle (2 weeks before your expected period).

Is it possible that you have some type of infection or STD? You should go to a clinic and request a pregnancy test and STD screening to be safe.

i'd say its not possible...if you had your period...the time to get pregnant would be 14-17 dyas after your period... 5 days is way to soon to ovulate....but nothing is impossible
