well if you want some real heavy metal or rock try the following bands.....

Black Sabbath (Ozzy years only, please)

Led Zeppelin

AC/DC (does not stand for anti christ/devils child)

Aerosmith (their ok)

Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)

David Bowie (gotta get this guy)

Deep Purple

The Doors

George Thorogood & The Destroyers

Iron Maiden

Kiss (if you like stadium rock)

well I really love the early metal bands such as Led zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Cream, MC5, Iron Butterfly, Blue Cheer and Deep Purple. I just love to hear the roots of metal.
