For a boy... My husband is american and I am french. We are looking for a naturish name which would be easy to pronounce in both languages. Sage is a wise person with a lot of wisdom in France but we do not use this as a name though. I still really like it a lot, what do you think of it? The middle name would be Edward from my husband's grandfather... Sage Edward.

Absolutely beautiful name. Oh - both sides of the family will pronounce it differently and both will be wonderful!

Congrats!

personally, I know it's more so used for girls, by I like Sage better for a boy than a girl.

Sage Edward sounds nice to me!

I say go for it

I like the name personally....if you are worried that it sounds too feminine then you can always switch them around, Edward Sage.
Schulyer Edward
James Edward

These are some off the top of my head.
Good Luck!

I like Sage but its very feminine for a little boy.
For something nature-ish but a little less feminine you could try:
Basil Edward
Cedar Edward
Oak/ Oakley Edward
Oleander Edward
Thorn Edward
Brant Edward (type of bird)
Condor Edward (type of bird)
Crane Edward (type of bird)
Falcon Edward (type of bird)
Harrier Edward (type of bird)
Jaeger Edward (type of bird)
Jay Edward (type of bird)
Kinglet Edward (type of bird)
Merlin Edward (type of bird)
Phoenix Edward (type of bird)
Robin Edward (type of bird)
August Edward
Canyon Edward
Clay Edward
Flint Edward
Glen Edward
Haven Edward
Heath Edward
North Edward
Ocean Edward
Ridge Edward
River Edward
Storm Edward
Tiger Edward

Hope that helps, but Sage is sweet anyway! :)

Sage does not seem masculine to me, but it sounds nice with Edward.

I also like Dace Edward or Vaughn Edward.

I know a girl named Sage spelled Saige. It sounds more like a girls name. Hope this helps.

Best of luck to you and your family.

I really like Sage, but I like it better for a girl. It doesn't sound masculine and if I saw it, I would automatically think it was a girl.
